C&D Aerospace, a leading designer and manufacturer of aircraft interiors, is growing so rapidly that it required a new corporate headquarters facility to be located in Huntington Beach, California. The new 150,000 square foot building has a three-story, steel framed, curtain wall structure fronting Bolsa Avenue and a single story, concrete tilt-up manufacturing facility at the rear of the site. Construction was completed in April of 2001. Features include a three-story barrel shaped skylighted atrium at the center of the building, a two-story entry lobby with neon lighting and soffited ceilings, along with high performance glazing and radiuses at the exterior metal skin.
