C. R. Carney Architects provided a "Specific Plan" for BCE Development which included the master planning of site design, project design guidelines, land use, and all governmental processing and approvals. The Rancho Santa Fe Business Center, located in San Marcos, California, is comprised of 77 acres of rolling hillside which was portioned into 21 individual parcels. The design included for a regional retail center and commercial pads fronting on Rancho Santa Fe road with larger R&D buildings on the remaining parcels.
